The Michael James Organisation will auction two prime properties - one in Gordon’s Bay and the other in Somerset West – as instructed by the liquidator in the matter of Zalvest Twenty (Pty) Ltd (In Liquidation), Masters Reference: C226/2014.

The Gordon’s Bay property is a two-bedroomed unit in the upmarket marina complex of Harbour Island, says the auction house’s Paula Voges. “The apartment on offer - Unit 24 in the San Antonio sectional title block - is located on the second floor and measures 111m². The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and there is also a guest bathroom.”

The living area and fitted kitchen are open plan, and lead out onto a balcony overlooking the canal and mountains, she says. “The sale of the unit will include an underground open parking bay, and residents of the complex have access to a communal swimming pool. The complex also provides 24-hour security at the entrance gate.

The apartment will be auctioned at 11.15am on Wednesday, 17 September. The auction will be held on site at Unit 24 San Antonio, St Croix Drive, Harbour Island, Gordons bay. Viewing of the property will take place between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday, 14 September.

The second auction will be that of a three-bedroomed family home in a quiet neighbourhood in Somerset West. Situated at 21 Oatlands Street (Erf 2532), Somerset West, the property has a total extent of 991m², says Voges.

“The home includes an entrance hall; a dining room that is open-plan to the lounge, with French doors leading to an undercover patio; a kitchen with scullery and laundry; and a family bathroom. A double garage is connected to a single separate garage, and the property also offers quarters for a domestic worker and a landscaped garden.”

The auction will be held on site at 21 Oatlands Street, Somerset West, at 11.15am on Thursday, 18 September. The property may be viewed between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday, 14 September.
